Nursing / Subacute Unit
At Pacific Care Nursing Center we strive to provide quality nursing care for our patients in a calm and friendly atmosphere. In coordination with the residents, our team members specialize in rehabilitating patients to promote and maximize independence. We provide more complex care in our Subacute Unit with 24/7 in-house Respiratory Therapists. Our trained specialists provide respiratory therapy along with a weaning program when appropriate.

Dietary/Social Services/Activities
Dietary
Our meals are carefully planned by a Registered Dietitian to accommodate every patients’ dietary need. Nutritious dietitian-approved snacks are provided between meals. Our meals include therapeutic diets, special menus and cultural preferences.
Social Services
Our Social Service team assists both patients and families during this transitional period. We provide essential information, manage requests and concerns, assist in care planning and discharge planning for each patient. Our goal is to ensure our patients have a pleasant experience and a safe discharge home.
Activities
We’ve created a positive and uplifting atmosphere with our activities and social programs. We employ outgoing and friendly staff to create social programs and activities to fit our Patients’ needs. Each patient is provided a monthly calendar to keep them informed of upcoming events such as birthday parties, movies, musical programs, outings, and other special events. We always welcome friends and families to visit and attend our special events.

With our Rehabilitation programs, we have elevated rehabilitation and healing to a fine art. The program offers cutting edge techniques and individualized care, we strive for the highest level of recovery and enabling you to get back on your feet as quickly as possible.
